Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the day-to-day running of a busy country pub and restaurant set within a welcoming boutique property in the Cotswolds.
Working closely with the owners and senior management, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional front-of-house service while helping to lead and motivate the team. A strong knowledge of wine and cocktails is highly desirable, as the drinks offering is an important part of the overall guest experience.
Due to the rural location, own transport is required.
Salary & Benefits
Basic salary: £28,000–£30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities
- Support the management team with the daily running of front-of-house operations
- Lead service shifts and ensure high service standards are consistently delivered
- Assist with training, mentoring, and motivating the FOH team
- Build strong relationships with guests and help create a welcoming atmosphere
- Assist with rotas, cashing up, and daily reconciliations
- Support the wine and cocktail programme and help develop team product knowledge
- Work closely with the kitchen and management team to ensure smooth service
About You
- Previous experience in a supervisor or assistant manager role within hospitality
- Knowledge or passion for wine and cocktails
- Proactive, flexible, and organised with strong attention to detail
- A natural people person who enjoys building relationships with guests and team members
- Experience in quality dining environments required
- Passionate about delivering great hospitality and memorable guest experiences
